Seek Your Own Proof Team

Discovery Kids

Seek Your Own Proof is safe and secure. We look out for our agents through bad word filters, parent linked sign-ups, and the ability to report bullying and abuse.

Privacy

During the sign-up process, agents (and their parents) are asked to provide information through a series of questions. This includes providing a unique Agent Codename, a parents' email address, birth month/year, and gender. We never ask for real names, addresses, phone numbers, or locations, and actively filter this content to prevent it from being disclosed by kids.

Safety

Our community managers (known as "Special Agents in Charge") are visible and actively interact with our community of young agents. They are trained, qualified staff who have been subject to background and security checks. Moderation staff do not actively engage with agents, and focus primarily on deleting and/or flagging questionable content within the site.

Hours of operation

Seek Your Own Proof is operational seven days a week, with access ot all agents between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 pm (Eastern) daily. We believe that all agents need to rest up in preparation for the next day's challenges.

Security

Talk to your kids about protecting their privacy using the Agent Code:

1. Protect your identity. As an agent of the CIE you should never provide your personal information, such as your real name, age, address or current location, phone number or school. A great Agent protects their identity at all times.

2. Choose a Unique Agent Name. Avoid picking an agent name that is in any way suggestive.

that does not reflect your real identity. Avoid names that are in any way suggestive, even if they seem innocent to you.

3. Protect your password. It is important that both parents and kids protect their passwords against unauthorized use.

4. Block and report other Agents. If other agents are asking you to reveal your identity by providing personal information or they are making you feel uncomfortable, block the Agent in question. Blocking an agent immediately notifies a Special Agent In Charge so they can take action.
