Seek Your Own Proof is produced by Rocketfuel Productions Inc. headquartered in Edmonton, Canada. Seek Your Own Proof is presented exclusively by Discovery Kids.
Seek Your Own Proof is a multi-platform puzzle adventure series that follows the story of three investigative siblings - Aidan, Milanie, and Heiko Munro - who discover the world of a secret underground agency known as the Central Institute for Exploration (C.I.E.). As agents of the C.I.E., Seek Your Own Proof agents participate in online missions and solve mysteries through a series of animated and live-action videos, interactive puzzles and exclusive games. Seek Your Own Proof then takes agents into the real world through Field Missions at local museums.
A few years ago, we set out to create a new kind of brand experience for connected young minds. One that would blur the lines between entertainment and education, nonfiction and fiction, and the online world with the real world. To add to the mix, we wanted to share our curiosity and a love of storytelling, mystery, science, history and the unknown. We might also add that our background working in the educational, museum and cultural heritage space was another contributor. And so, Seek Your Own Proof was born.
Launched in early 2010, we have already been recognized with a number of industry awards including "Most Promising New Company" at the Canadian New Media Awards, and was named as 1 of 2 projects to be supported by the inaugural TELUS Innovation Fund; "Best Pitch" and "Most Viable Property" at the international "Pitch It!" competition at the KidScreen Summit in New York, the largest kids' entertainment industry event in North America; "Best of Show" at the Fusion Digital Media Venture Forum in Vancouver, Canada; and, Grand Prize Winner at the TEC VenturePrize competition in Alberta, Canada. We were recently awarded an Editor's Choice Award from Children's Technology Review (4.5 stars out of 5).
Seek Your Own Proof is a private sector venture backed by Foundation Equity II LP, TELUS Innovation Fund, Virtual Museum of Canada Investment Fund, Telefilm Canada New Media Fund, and other corporate investments.
